▍ Working principle
Dust-laden gas enters tangentially from the bottom of the cylinder and rises in a rotating motion. Dust particles are thrown against the inner wall by centrifugal force, where they are adsorbed by the rotating water film and discharged to the bottom with the water flow. The water film is formed by nozzles at the top of the cylinder that spray water tangentially onto the inner wall, and its continuity is maintained by a flow-guiding structure.
▍ Structural features
Material: Constructed of 304 stainless steel or steel, corrosion-resistant and with excellent sealing, suitable for handling acidic or weakly alkaline gases.
Inner Lining: Some models use granite or wear-resistant materials to enhance high-temperature resistance and abrasion resistance.
Desulfurization Efficiency: Adding alkaline water can increase sulfur oxide removal rate to over 80%.
▍ Application scenarios
Widely used in boiler flue gas purification, metallurgical smelting, chemical production, and other scenarios that generate high-temperature, corrosive gases, it is especially suitable for handling particulate matter larger than 0.3μm.
▍ Maintenance requirements
The sedimentation tank needs to be cleaned regularly and the nozzles checked to ensure water film continuity; it is suitable for negative pressure operation, and the air leakage rate must be controlled below 5% to ensure dust removal efficiency.
